What our customers are saying.

Here's what our customers are saying about our work.

The team just finished converting 15 historic single-pane windows to double-paned in my 1756 saltbox after approval from my town’s historic district commission.
I couldn’t be happier. The whole transaction was seamless and the team responsive. The installation was done with care and attention to detail. I also feel confident that they will stand by their product and their work. Now, I want my second floor windows done. :)) Thank you, Jim, Andrew, Chris, and Nate. Signed, One Happy Customer- Anna

Hi Andrew,

Sending a note to thank you and your team for the wonderful work you did on our windows.

We’re very pleased with the outcome and enjoyed the added warmth during the last cold snap. We especially appreciate you taking this job so far from your home territory.

Please pass on the thank you to the crew.

Great Job. Truly professional. Restored windows kept charm of original 1960’s building vs. being told by modern day window sales(man) keeping (original) windows “impossible”. – Ann

My wife and I own a 200 year old home, which has about 50 windows. We needed to replace the extremely old and drafty windows but didn’t want new cheap frames with thermal windows. Window Restorations solved the problem. They use the actual centuries-old frames and, with expert carpentry, transform them into a tight fitting thermal windows that keep cold New England winters from entering the house. The process isn’t cheap, but it’s a more beautiful solution and it preserves the value of your antique home.- JT

We recently moved into our newly purcased home and Window Restorations of CT worked with us and never made a mess. Now that the project is complete, the restored windows look like new! Great job guys – I will recommend you to all my neighbors.- P. of Soutport

CT Bi-Glass operates as any homeowner would wish. Prices up front, detailed explanation of the work, excellent communications and all work done on time as promised. Well done. – Rob

Our experience with Bi-Glass of CT has been amazing. Our house from 1920 had original wood windows, which were nice to look but not operational. We could not open them, and in addition were leaky. However, we did not want to replace such beautiful windows with new ones. Bi-Glass of CT did the trick for us. They are really experienced craftsmen that restored our windows beautifully. In addition, the crew was very reliable, and they started the project and finished it within the promised time, something that in my experience is usually very rare. I highly recommend Bi-Glass of CT. Please, don’t throw your beautiful old windows, you won’t regret it. – Maria

I would like to commend you and your crew for your professionalism, and craftsmanship in the recent completion of the restoration to the windows in my home. The window system that replaced the drafty damaged windows, that were original to the structure, have changed not only the appearance, but enhanced the comfort level in the rooms to an extraordinary level.

We researched replacement windows, but were not satisfied with the appearance , nor would we settle for windows that destroy the look of our vintage Victorian home. I had heard of your system and process, and was very pleased to find that you were scheduled to be a guest speaker at our association educational meeting. Our Association, The Connecticut Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. was very impressed with your skill and knowledge of restoration, and your attention to detail as demonstrated with your display. After the seminar I was convinced that this was the only remedy for my home.

Our windows are over 100 years old. several had not been operated in years, now they operate very easily, even the very large windows open and close with ease, the tilt feature is a bonus that we did not think was possible because of the size and weight factor. We are located near a busy State Highway and school, the noise level from the outside has been reduced to almost nothing, and the energy cost savings are exceptional.

I specialize in inspecting older homes, and have recommended your product to several clients. Please feel free to include me in your list of satisfied customers, and I would be happy to answer questions from potential customers. – Peter

On time and as promised!

While I always believe there’s room for improvement –– I cannot honestly suggest where or how!

Meticulus –– Superb –– Outstanding!
You did what you said — when you said — and as good or better than you said you would. Your crew — Tom and Matt are — TOP NOTCH!! Super Guys. Did the job as if they were working on their own homes! Neat — Professional — Pleasant — Polite — Efficient. Absolutly – Albert and Mary

Our 1896 colonial still had the original single-pane wooden windows when we purchased it in 2008. They were big and beautiful…but extremely leaky and had broken weights and ropes and wouldn’t stay open. We researched replacement wood and replica wood windows from top manufacturers. It was very difficult to compare products and we struggled with the decision because none of them kept the integrity of the original windows.

Then I learned about Bi-Glass of Connecticut. Mr. Fritzer arrived promptly for the appointment and very clearly explained the process and cost for the windows. He also discussed replacing the glass and weatherstripping two full glass doors (original, we believe). The cost was comparable to replacement and the decision was now easy.

The crew was clean and neat and arrived on time every day, and completed the job when promised. Our windows are now weatherstripped, function properly, and are just as beautiful as ever. We could not be happier with them, and with the work performed by Bi-Glass.- Jeff S
